The provided bolts are cheap and 3 broke while i was tightening them. The provided bracket to attach to a Polaris Sportsman doesn't fit correctly i had to bend it to fit and drill out the holes in the bracket to fit the bolts. The plow does work good once installed.

Product QuestionsI have a 2008 Yamaha Grizzly 400. Does this plow unit come with the plow mount that mounts to the underside of the ATV or am I required to purchase this mount extra?Question by: jay on Jan 5, 2014 10:20:21 AMHello,
The x factor is not specified to work with this machine however it does fit 80% of all machines. For a machine this size we recommend looking at a cycle country brand plow made for heavier duty plowing. If they do, in fact, get the Xfactor they will also need a lift system such as the 15-0090, 15-0060, or a winch.Answer by: D.J. (Admin) on Jan 5, 2014 10:20:21 AMI have a 2009 Yamaha grizzly 450 4 wheel drive. Is the mounting bracket included and is the blade a quick disconnect? If the unit is shipped to the rural king store do I have to pay for shipping?Question by: Robert S on Dec 13, 2013 12:57:14 PMI own a 2005 John Deere Buck 500. Will the mount work with it?
Can the mount be left on the ATV and does it affect ground clearance at all?Question by: Dave on Oct 18, 2014 9:29:05 AMHello Dave,
I received an email from the manufacturer and they shared this information with me:
I know this mount will work on the John Deere Buck-that machine is a re-branded BRP Traxter, and we happen to have one in our
shop that has the front mount plow installed.
I will be sending a separate email with the Manual to Mount it. Thank you for contacting Rural King.com
Answer by: D.J. (Admin) on Oct 18, 2014 9:29:05 AMDoes the included mount plate or system fit an '02 Polaris Sportsman 500 HO? I already have the winch and winch mount. Our atv is a 1996 Yamaha Big bear 4x4 350. Is this compatible with the Kolpin x-factor atv plow 10-0520? Is manual lift hardware available through Kolpin? Thank you.Question by: Timothy Sullens on Jul 1, 2014 12:42:41 AMHello,
The Kolpin X-Factor fits on 80-90 % of all machines. The only ones we do not recommend mounting this on is can-ams. This should be fine. As for a manual lift, because of it being a forward mount, the only mounting options available are the electric lift 15-0060, winch 25-2500 25-3500 25-3500, or a quick manual lift 15-0030. Please let us know if there are any other questions we can assist you with.Answer by: D.J. (Admin) on Jul 1, 2014 12:42:41 AMI have a 2007 honda rincon 680 4 wheel drive. Does this plow unit come with the plow mount that mounts to the underside of the ATV or am I required to purchase this mount extra?Question by: curt wilderman on Oct 19, 2014 6:55:10 PMHello Curt,
The X-Factor plow was designed to be an easy on-off type of plow so that the rider did not have to fool around with the under mounts and clearance issues, so in short, there will not be an issue with clearance on the X-Factor.
