I have wanted a crossbow since I was a teenager, but this is the first for me and I love it. I am 71 years old, so I need the rope cocking device to get it cocked. Even if I were 40 years younger, I would use the rope because it applies pressure evenly at the correct places on the string. The Jakal appears to be well made and is amazingly accurate. I needed only 6 shots to get the Red Dot Sight set for shots of 25 yards, then consistently hit the "bulls eye" thereafter. Not bad for an old guy.
