perfect for guinea pigs and small pets Review by angela

I love this stuff. I was using aspen for my guinea pigs and that gets expensive because those little fellas require almost daily cleaning because of the copious amounts of waste they produce. This is economical and I can clean the cage completely every two days. I usually layer either DE or PDZ under the bedding as well.

My guinea pigs haven't tried to eat it. I wouldn't recommend it for rabbits however, because it is perfect texture for digging and no one likes seeing litter scattered all over their floor. lol.

We use this bedding in our rabbitry we put 2 large scoops in each tray and spread it around until flat . This is by far the best and easiest way for us. It also smells pretty good. DO NOT let your rabbit eat this though it can be dangerous to there health

shows promise Review by Lee

We primarily use pellets, however the dust has become a concern with the dryer weather. We decided to try the corncob as an alternative. we generally bed heavier than most, and we clean daily. we started by adding only 2 bags to a 12x12 stall and mixed it in with the existing pelleted to see if the horses were going to eat it or not, to our surprise they only ate a few bites and then left it alone, a few days later we added an additional 2 bags and it has maintained as well as the pellets. so far I have been impressed with its absorbency and ease of use, the only downfall I can find is that it has a tendency to pack in the hoofs of the horses with shoes. We plan to continue its use in the other stalls.

DO NOT USE FOR HORSES Review by LessonLearned

We tried this bedding, within 4 nights one of our horses was severely colicing. After taking her to OSU and doing emergency surgery they found it was this bedding. It blocked both small and large intestines ....they can pick it up with their hay or just nuzzling around on the ground. DO NOT USE FOR HORSES!!! This warning needs to be put on the bags in bold letters.

Not worth the money Review by Melissa

I just tried this based on the 1 review. It isn't worth the money I added 1 bag to the current bedding and 4 days later I needed to add more it was totally gone. I have used wood pelleted bedding before and 1 bag added to the current bedding lasted almost 2 weeks not 4 days. I will be returning the other 2 unused bags for a refund.

Super Product Review by Gina

I love this bedding for the large loose box in spring and summer.
Put it over a light dusting layer of barn lime,
with a thin layer of wood shavings on top, and it contains odor, and soaks up excess moisture well.
After doing an initial clean up with a pitch fork to pick up the solid waste,
clean up is a breeze with scoop shovel, and barn broom.
