Crossroad Herbacide Review by Dave

THis is the same stuff as Crossbow at a much lower price. Great value. Worked fantastic on poison ivy in North Carolina. Sprayed it on a serious infestation in a grassy meadow. Grass species were not touched and ALL the ivy was killed within 2 weeks. Also works great on green briar. They call it "saw thistle" around here. Rural King delivery was VERY fast, within 2 or 3 days.

Sprayed along a fence row and a dry creek bed and it did knock the broadleaf plants/weeds down. Mix was 1.5%. Probably buy it again.

Used for Poison Ivy Review by Crossroads Brush Killer

THis stuff worked great on poison ivy. (Applied in May in NC sunny day 75 degrees with no rain for a week afterward). I originally used it as recommended (1.5% solution) or 1 cup in 4 gallons plus a tablespoon of surfactant. It took about 3 days before I saw any effect on the leaves but then the plants began to turn yellow and die. I next used a 2.5% solution and saw a much bigger effect on leaves within 2 days. I wont know for some time but by next year I will be able to say how effective it is long term.

The price is excellent and the product is the same as the crossbow which costs more.

Can't Go Wrong Review by Roger Krabbenhoft

Purchased this Crossroad herbicide for buckthorn control. I've purchased several gallons from Rural King with no issues. Shipments are always timely and the price is typically quite competitive. The product works well in my application. I'm mixing it 5oz to a gallon of diesel fuel, and applying with hand/backpack sprayer as either a basal bark or cut stump treatment. For saplings, it seems to also be working as a foliage treatment on this hard to control tree.

I really like Crossroad because it combines the wood plant killing effectiveness with the broadleaf killing ability of 2,4-D at a Generic price.

Good Contol of Woody Vegetation Review by Jack

Through a lot of trial and error, I have have found amixture of this product to be very effective on unwanted vegetation species in north central Texas. 3oz mixed to 1.5 gallons of water and 1oz Tordon RTU with 2oz dish detergent (surfactant) is effective on young tender mesquite and starts the demise of prickly pear cactus. This is in addition to any broadleaf weeds you want killed. Mesquite and cactus are very resistant so it took some tries to find an effective treatment that was cost efficient. Reclaim may be better, but it is also $180 a gallon.

This product combines the ingredients of Remedy with 2-4D for broader results than either product alone.

I have found that different products have varying results in different geographic regions. What works one place on a region's vegetation may have no effect on another. The mentioned mix works well here in north central Texas.
