Price Value Quality Was shipped promptly. Am using it to supplement chlorination in an inground swimming pool. It keeps the algae under control during the extreme hot periods when chlorination no longer is effective. Works better than the dilute products sold by the pool suppliers and only needs a few ounces for a 40,000 gallon pool every few weeks.

Value Quality Price We had used copper sulfate to control filamentous algae in our 3 retention ponds with reasonable results but lots of work. We sprayed the bloom then in a day or two we pulled the dead "stuff" out of the water and allowed it to dry on the sides of the ponds for a few days then went back to bag it up for the garbage. Usually there would be signs of needing to treat again just as we were finishing the first process.
Since using Cutrine we no longer have to "harvest" the dead algae - I'm not sure what happens to it. Additionally, we are only treating once a month with minor touch ups in small area _ probably spots we missed.
Great product. Like all these things, I just wish it weren't so expensive.

Value Quality Price This products offers good results on filamentous and blue-green algae when used according to the label. Best results are achieved when applied on a sunny day and early in the season. When used with a pond colorant such as Aquashade good season long results can be achieved in controlling algae.
