- Terrible for leather horse equipment Review by Susan Conaway

This stuff clogs the pores of the leather and makes the leather gummy, sticky and causes loss of flexibility. I WISH that Rural King would carry straight Neatsfoot Oil - NOT the compound !
Pure Neatsfoot Oil will totally revitalize old dried out leather if a person takes the time to use HOT HOT HOT water with a glycerine soap to clean the dirt and grime and thoroughly rinse so the leather pores are open and then generously apply Neatsfoot Oil in several light coats. I will soak reins and other strap goods overnight in a little bucket of Neatsfoot Oil, rub in it with old toweling the next day and hang things up so they can absorb the oil evenly for a day - reins hang from the rafters on the hook end of a wire hanger. I have leather halters and bridles 40 years old that are in like new condition !
PLEASE STOCK PURE NEATSFOOT OIL, RURAL KING !!

- Excellent price for the volume Review by Leo N
Quality Price Value
Can never have enough to take care of the needs around the house. Perfect in restoring and redarken the leather materials. Great for usages on cutlery equipment and buffing materials. A bit strong on scent at first if work in an enclosed area. The strong petroleum compound lingers for days on equipment until a bit of exposure to flowing air and sunlight.
