bale sleeves work great for leaving hay outside, it takes a couple people to put them on. and a little time consuming. the only other answer would be put up a building. just slide on or off or just cut with knife, unlike fighting with net wrap. i first move all the bales to the spot i'm going to sleeve at. then i like two people to slide sleeves on while i stay on the tractor stacking in single rows, it makes a good system. sometime i take a two bottom plow making one pass and coming back from other direction putting the two rows together. with a wide front tractor stacking the hay on this plowed row holds the mosture out of the ground saving even less hay loss on the bottom.
