Price Value Quality We have a dozen of these for power failures and camping trips. they work great, just so long as you don't turn the wick up too high. If you have it too high, the glass gets covered with soot.
The instructions say "kerosine only" but we use citronella torch fuel and have had no problems. The smoke keeps the bugs away. Unlike a mantle lantern, they don't hiss and make noise to scare, and the light is gentle enough that it doesn't blow out your night vision. Great lanterns, just pack more than one for camping.
