Plunger seal wore out very quickly and handle won't stay where I put it to regulate flow. Waste of money.

This hydrant is terrible Review by cathy

The hydrant had problems from the start . The handle would raise on its own. and in just 2 months the seal went out at the bottom and the manufacturer offers no warranty. They say it is a adjustment problem or a water pressure problem. The price isn't bad til you consider all the gallons of water you lose. Piece of crap don't buy this.

  • From Kaylee Miller at 2/7/13 1:07 AM
    • Q: Does this work with electricity to pull water from a well.............or will it work without electricity, as in a power failure?
    • Show Answer
    • A: Hello Kaylle,
This needs to be hooked up to either city water or a pressurization well system that is not about 80 lbs. It will not need electricity.
