    • Q: I JUST PURCHASED AN RTC70 FROM A GUY. WHEN I GOT IT HOME I NOTICED THE PTO SHAFT WHERE IT ENTERED THE GEAR BOX IS WOBBLING. IS THIS NORMAL? I HAVE BEEN ON A FARM FOR ALL MY LIFE AND HAVE NEVER SEEN A WOBBLY PTO SHAFT GOING IN TO A GEARBOX. MOST ARE STABLE! THANK YOU FOR ANSWERING THIS IN ADVANCE!

    • A: Hello,

I have been in contact with the manufacturer of this item in regards to your questions and their response is below.

PTO shaft should not be wobbly.

Check input shaft on gear box to see if it is loose. If so bearings are probably bad. Repair or replace gear box.

If gear box is ok, check universal joint on drive shaft. If bad, replace.

      Thank you.
