Hunter's Lair F-36 Turkey Hunting Ground Blind Review by vic moore

I have bought 3 of these blinds, and they are terrible, hubs are made out of cheap plastic and brake very easily, have talked to Jeff in Indianapolis, but he can not provide spare parts. Rural King should stop selling them and take them off the shelves, and either replace the bad ones, with another product of equal value, or give the people involved a full refund, receipt or no receipt, This is a pure case of fraud and Rural King knows it, but they don't care about keeping people as customers, just as long as they get the money.!!!!!!!

need replacement parts Review by

I've purchased 3 of these blinds and they work great , until the hubs start to break, and you can't find replacement parts. I've contacted the store and they gave me a sales rep in Indianapolis, In. his name is jeff and his phone # is 1-317-594-0276, if enough people call maybe they will do something about the problem. This product is sub standard and should be pull from the stores, also if I can't get some satisfaction from Rural King, my next step is to contact the State of Illinois Attourney Generals office and report this as a case of fraud, I don't have 300 dollars to throw away every year on hunting blinds. If you have got the same problem as I have, send me an E-mail.

So far so good Review by brandilee

This blind wasn't the one I went to the store to buy. I wanted the Ameristep Brickhouse Hunting Realtree AP HD Camo Ground Blind. New for 99.99 on sale for 89.99 with shoot through mesh, and magnetic window systems. Measurements 75"x75" and 66" tall. Perfect for my husband, son and I to sit in. Well when I got to the store they had that one sat up and the Hexagon Autumn Leaf Camo blind up. I came to find that the Ameristep blind didn't have magnetic windows it had velcro. So then I checked out this blind and it had the magnetic windows. It also had as much room as the Ameristep one, even though it is 58"x58"x65"tall. So I purchased this one insteed, and even saved 15 dollars. So i sat it up in the living room, had a little trouble sitting it up because I didn't want to pull to hard on the top, and it wouldn't go flat so I pulled out the side first. The room inside was awesome, we will be able to fit all of us in there. Then I unzipped all of the windows, and I was shocked to see windows all the way around, a 360 degree view, and a window on top. Plus no more scaring deer with velcro windows, the magnetic windows are perfect. Taking it down was the easiest part, and it comes with this nice camo duffle bag to put it in. Very pleased so far and recomment this product.

spots that break Review by fire man

I have purchased two of them. I like the room of it the only issue I have is the plastic spots were the rods go break easy. On both of them it broke in the same spot. Then you ask if I would buy another one probly so just so I could get the two I have fixed.

Outstanding product Review by Jeff Tabor

I purchased this hub blind during the latter part of bow season this year , i placed this blind on the edge of a hay field in some tall brush and had 2 does that same day come out right beside it, they never saw the blind, and never knew what hit them, my brother and i fit nicely inside with plenty of room to draw a bow and the shoot thru window mesh did the job of hiding any movement inside the blind to outside observers, it would be nice to find replacement mesh screens for this blind, if anybody can find out post me an e-mail at

otherwise i recommend this product to any hunter needing a easy set-up blind with tons of room inside.

Has some issues Review by Dirty

I bought the f36 hexagon hunting blind in the middle of the 09 hunting season and found the blind to very roomy, but upon setting it in the field the center hub had broke. I brought it home and made a repair and worked for the season. I went out to remove the blind and another hub broke can't find any repair parts to fix them, and of course I don't have my receipt!!!
