I had to take back one I purchased at Lowes because it slung oil none stop. I purchased this one and use it a lot. If has never failed me. Plenty of air for anything that I do around the shop where I restore antique tractors. Very nice compressor for the money.

Product QuestionsIs a cord and plug supplied with the unit or is it to be hard-wired? If a cord and plug connection is desired, but not supplied, what NEMA plug configuration is required? Would a NEMA 10-30 be acceptable?Question by: Eric on Nov 5, 2014 12:12:45 PMHello Eric,
A cord and a plub is not supplied with the unit. It is to be hard wired. Because of the amps that the Air compressor releases is of a great amount. A plug configuration is not required nor acceptable for this product.
Rural King Customer serviceAnswer by: D.J. (Admin) on Nov 5, 2014 12:12:45 PMwhat is the starting watts?
what are the running watts?
what size of portable generator do i need to run this air compressor?Question by: angel on Aug 16, 2014 6:45:32 PMHello,
I have been in contact with the manufacturer of this item and their response is below.
Because of different variables in usage and application, the best way is to refer the customer to the Ingersoll Rand Tech Questions phone number.
That number is 800-247-7378.
Thank youAnswer by: D.J. (Admin) on Aug 16, 2014 6:45:32 PMQuestion by: Jared on Mar 12, 2014 8:30:13 PMHello,
Unfortunately this is not a one answer fits all type of question. The wire will depend on different variables that the customer has at their location as far as voltage in the building etc. The best way to get the correct answer is to contact our technical team at 1-800-483-4981 choose option 1 then choose option 2. They will determine what setup is and give them the correct recommendation. If wiring and voltage is not correct for the unit then there is potential for damage to the unit so you want to make sure recommended steps are followed.
Answer by: D.J. (Admin) on Mar 12, 2014 8:30:13 PMQuestion by: randy on Dec 23, 2014 8:41:20 PMHello,
This air compressor does not have an auxiliary valve. The air compressor has an automatic start and stop which is a pressure switch. From my understand when speaking to the manufactures technical dept. normally auxiliary valves come with gas models.Answer by: D.J. (Admin) on Dec 23, 2014 8:41:20 PM
