Very Satisfied Review by Anthony Franco

I chose King Kutter because I have very stony property and have read many good reviews about this tiller. I set it up,hitched it to my tractor, and tried it out. I was very pleased and very amazed at the number of rocks and the size of them that I will be dealing with. I glad I made the choice to get a King Kutter instead of buying a store brand locally.

Great product and good service from Rural King Review by Jim Worden

I hooked up this tiller after adding gear oil and greasing and tilled a new 1/4 acre plot of garden that was previously lawn. The tiller worked very well despite the sod and extremely rocky soil, and took less than a half hour. I probably could plant after one pass, but I will hit it again before planting. I am well satisfied with the performance of the tiller. I would have rated it perfect, except one of the mini clevises that hold the chain to the rear gate was stripped out and kept falling off. It was a simple fix and had nothing to do with the performance of the machine. I expect many years of service from this tiller.

I looked at many rototillers and after first use, I'm very satisfied. This is a well made product and looks like I will enjoy many good years with it. Wish I would have bought it years ago.

Questions on King Kutter 5' Professional Gear Driven Rotary Tiller TG-G-60

  • From Ed at 3/26/14 11:51 PM
    • Q: Is my kubota M9000 90 hp to much for these tillers
    • Show Answer
    • A: Hello,
90 hp is way too much for this tiller—we do not recommend a tractor with more horsepower than 40.
      Thank you

    • Q: what is the plowing depth of the tg-g-60 tiller ?
    • Show Answer
    • A: Hello,
I have checked with King Kutter. They said that goes to approximately 8". It will not go that deep in just one pass. It will take at least passes.
      Thank you

  • From Sean at 6/26/14 7:47 PM
    • Q: What gear oil does this take???
    • Show Answer
    • A: Hello Sean,

000 is what is recommended, however, it's hard to find, so you could use 85-90 weight.

Thank you for inquiring with Rural King and have a great day!
