- Product was nice but delivery was terrible Review by John Hood
Price Value Quality
The product I received was nice, but the delivery was terrible. I specifically called ahead before I ordered this product and a rotary tiller to ask about the delivery. I ask if they had a lift gate on the trailer or did I have to unload it. The lady on the phone said that they had a lift gate. I said so you are telling me that if I order this product they will drop it on the ground for me and she said yes. I was called by the freight company at 10:30am the day of delivery and they said that they would be at my house at 12:30pm. I had to leave work to meet them because of the only 2 hours of advance notice. They also had no lift gate and the truck was so long that I had to take my tractor out in my busy road and unload the Tiller and the plow. Luckily I had just purchase forks for my tractor or I would not have been able to unload. The skids that the items came on were all broken and the products were extremely hard to unload. I was afraid that they would be fall, because they were packaged so poorly. I had to replace the pin on the plow, because it was turned inside out and the threads were damaged, because the plow was laying on it's side. The pallet only had three boards holding it together so to call it a pallet is a stretch. I don't usually complain or write reviews, but since Rural King ask for a review I decided to give one.
