The tablet may be placed in the growing container with the plant, in the soil at the time of planting, or near the root system in more developed plants. After placement, soil moisture begins to degrade the tablet, allowing the root system of the plant to take up the active ingredients into the upper portion of the target plant. For containerized plants, use enough water to wet the potting soil thoroughly without causing water to flush out from the bottom of the container. These tablets will deter deer, rabbits, voles, moles, gophers, groundhogs, feral hogs, dogs and cats.
