Sorgum-Sudangrass is a high performing proven Sorghum x Sudan Hybrid. It is a very sweet palatable forage that can be used for green chop, hay or summer pasture. It also works exceptionally well as highly competitive cover crop to provide large amounts of organic matter, cycle nutrients, suppress weeds, and loosen soil -with its deep penetrating root system. It works well for windbreak purposes with is tall growth and standability.

I broadcast Sorghum-Sudangrasst 3 weeks ago,,the results are that it'sa foot-high,,,,
MSD went through our common ground in absolutely devastated 50 feet wide to 75 feet and left us with no trees and no plants.
Jennifer Poricelli of the Missouri Department of conservation went out and looked at the devastationand advised us this crop would reduce the erosion,increase the soil organic matter content suppressed weeds manage our soil moisture etc
it is really nasty soil right along Smith Creek. I hope this is helpful
