They are Barrels Review by Bill

Was looking for something I could burn my fallen branches in and happen to see this drum for sale . For $19, I think they were a deal. No it's not the best drum and yes it is a used, repainted drum. For you complainers out there, try and find a better quality drum for under $50 and see how easy that works for you.

Flimsy Review by Arnold

Bought to use as a burn barrel. No top available, metal thin with a home made paint job that smoked and bubbled during my first burn. Now a yea later the barrel rusted out on the bottom third eventhough I had drilled drain hole in the bottm and put the barrel up on blocks. Was very dissapointed and now am going to try a simple garbage can that comes with a lid. It will probably last longer than the 55g drum.

Great Bargain Review by John

Just picked up 2 of these this morning, punched some vent holes on the bottom and around the bottom sides and put to work burning.
Turns out these are pretty difficult to find locally, was glad that a search lead me to this store.

It's a Burn Barrel Eienstein! Review by Sandy Griffitts

I used to buy used 55 gal barrels at an Oil Distribution Company for $20 cash only here in SWFLorida. When I saw the SAME barrel at RK for 19.99 I jumped on it. There may be some heavier manufactured steel barrels out there, but they are not the usual and would be far more expensive than $20 these days!
For a storage or burn barrel this is a great find. The other farm store does not carry these. Hats off to RK for stocking this useful tool.

Not a Standard 55 Gal Drum Review by Kenny

Picked up one of these at Mattoon Store. Was surprised that they were not the Standard 55 Gal drum that I've used for years, but a slightly taller (~6") and narrower barrel. (Not as Pictured) Lighter gauge of metal as well. I don't expect this barrel to last more than a few months for burning. I bought my last 2 barrels for $7 each and was shocked that these are $20 for a thin, top heavy barrel that will not last. I love Rural King, but I expected better than this.

It's a burn barrel Review by Kevin

They're cheap and work for the intended purpose.

I'm not sure what Mike was expecting. They're available for local pickup only, so any problems with paint color and dents were matters of his own choosing. And of course they're used, new steel barrels are expensive and a waste of money for a burn barrel.

I just purchased two of the burn barrels from RK. Two different colors, dents and quickly spray painted. Not new.
