Nice product! Review by Worm

Good quality and assembled just like the video says. Need two persons, level location and a screw gun, it's that simple.

Great coop. Simple assembly Review by Cbc

Great product and amazing shipping container. I had to pick up at freight company but it fit perfectly in my short bed 2500 truck. The shipping box was a challenge to open. It Took almost 2 hours to disassemble the shipping box and unpack the parts while on the truck. Assembly was extremely simple. Everything was marked perfect and total assembly time was less than 30 minutes. Great value and looks amazing.

poorly packed Review by Gary McClintock

Was unhappy about the way the Coop was shipped. When arrived not boxed and crated like video shows, but rather banded and they were very loose when it arrived. The pallet was missing 3 boards on the bottom, made it very hard to unload off the delivery truck with pallet forks. Was not happy with the old style square head screws provided, heads easily stripped out, we eventually had to purchase updated deck screws that worked much better. 30 minute construction is just hype. We are experienced builders and because of the outdated screw stock and the roof panels gave us a lot of trouble, ridges didn't match up, should have been switched, the piece with the overlapping trim had the wrong corrugated lap edge, thus the corrugated overlapped edge was on the bottom instead of on the top, so not properly seated without taking all the trim off. Lots of scuffs and not near enough paint included. Ours only had one roost. Amish made usually means quality, and I believe it could have been if more attention to detail. They cut corners on this one.

Solid Construction for a "Pre Fab" Review by Mark

We just build this coop this weekend. All in all this product is solid and worth the money. There were no instructions with mine but luckily I had already researched this coop and the company has an install video on youtube.

Some of the joints are tight, I had to use a pry bar like a shoe horn to get some of the joints to fit together. Also the manufacturers site shows 2 roosts but there is only one.

I build my first coop and it took all weekend and cost me about $600 in materials. This was much larger and only took a few hours to put together. I put it together with an 8 and 7 year old, if you had another adult it would be much faster.

Worth every penny! Review by Papamarky

First off, this is several hundred dollars less than similar "Amish style" coops on the market. I picked it up at my local Rural King. The crate just fit in our compact pickup. It was securely crated and easily unpacked. The design is well thought out and each piece is well constructed, even to the point of having all the screws pre-started. It was one of the easiest and well planned kits I have put together. The instructions are easy to follow and almost intuitive. I had a couple of questions and The Shed Yard responded to my emails promptly and efficiently. The finished product is sturdy and very functional. Indeed, worth every penny.,

Wonderful Chicken Coop! Review by Mariah

I have done a lot of research online and locally looking for a chicken coop, since my chickens have outgrown their current small coop. I settled on this one due to price, shipping price, and it looked like it was good quality. I was pleasantly surprised with this coop. It was packed well, easy to put together, and great quality. I followed along with the video and it was easily put together. The description states it has one roost, but it actually has two. If I ever need another chicken coop, or know someone looking for one I will definitely recommend this one!

Is it possible to get these ordered with the sides reversed to the man door would be on the right side looking from the front and the poultry door on the left? I have one already and would like to be able to have them side by side with enough space between that there could be a shared run between the two that chickens could access without having the coops facing different directions.
Is the coop delivered to your house and will they have a liftgate?
Does someone have to be present for delivery?
How large is this coop when packed? Will it fit in a Ford Ranger?
are these coops available at the store or do they have to be ordered only.
