We bought this for our red tick coonhound which even though we live in the country we can't let her out without a leash or putting her on airline cable in the back yard. I finally broke down and bought one. I was hesitant because of the price but I did it. I came very fast by rural king online. It was super easy to set up via the directions. I set the dial to six because we live next to a road and I didn't want her to be able to reach it. I went out to get the mail and 6 was perfect! It worked to where it went off just shy of the road. Now I didn't walk her around close to the boundaries and what not. I turned her lose because I knew she would immediately run out of our yard. She is a pain to catch if she gets loose. I was afraid it wouldn't work or something, but she crossed that boundary and came running back! It was great! Now she knows her boundaries after having this for two weeks and doesn't even try to leave our yard. We have even left it off a couple of times and she still doesn't try. We can just let her out the door, she does her business and comes back to the door when she is done! Where has the product been all our lives because it is GREAT! I would recommend to anyone and it is money well spent by all means!!!!!!

so far so good... training is taking a long time and not going exactly 'according to the book', but hoping for the best...good product and prompt delivery and got some good help on set up from phone support.

Two of our 4 dogs are roamers and this stopped them cold. Took a shorter training period than the recommended two weeks. Our yard is sloped so I worried that it might not work, but it works great. Really a great product and worth the extra price!

We bought ours at our local Rural King several years ago and it still does an amazing job. We have a large dog outside and he has plenty of room around the outside of our home to romp. Also have a collar on our inside dog so we can let him go outside to do his business and not worry about him going down to the road or wandering off to a neighbors. We've taken it to my wifes parents so he could run around their place without worrying about him. We love it and would recommend it to anyone.

This system does have its quirks because it's wireless technology (flucuations, issues at times with collars near metal, etc.) but overall it is a much better option than burying a fence. Also, you can take it anywhere - to the lake cottage, the campground, anywhere there is a power outlet.

While it's true it only lets you have a circle-shaped boundary, it does have a wide variety of settings for a really small circle to a really big circle. If the largest setting isn't enough, you can buy an extra transmitter and overlap the two boundaries by something like 10-15 feet to extend the boundary.

I would recommend this to anyone who can utilize a circle boundary. This is so easy to set it up and you can take it with you if you move.

If you need to block off flower beds or something, you will have to go with a buried wire option.

We have two large dogs and purchased this invisible fence system about a year ago. We have been very pleased with it. It keeps our dogs in the yard and away from the busy road. Both dogs learned very quickly where their boundaries were.

one thing to keep in mind with this fence is that it can only be configured as a circle. For my yard it barely gave my dog room to go around the house and I had to swap it out for the inground wired one. Fortunately they were willing to do the excahnge no problem, but to save yourself some time and headache - do not buy this unless your area can be a complete circle!
