Pet Safe Instant Wireless Dog Containment Fence System PIF-300
Product Review (submitted on July 16, 2012):
This system does have its quirks because it's wireless technology (flucuations, issues at times with collars near metal, etc.) but overall it is a much better option than burying a fence. Also, you can take it anywhere - to the lake cottage, the campground, anywhere there is a power outlet.
While it's true it only lets you have a circle-shaped boundary, it does have a wide variety of settings for a really small circle to a really big circle. If the largest setting isn't enough, you can buy an extra transmitter and overlap the two boundaries by something like 10-15 feet to extend the boundary.
I would recommend this to anyone who can utilize a circle boundary. This is so easy to set it up and you can take it with you if you move.
If you need to block off flower beds or something, you will have to go with a buried wire option.
I don't remember all the exact specifications, but you can download the product manual from Pet Safe's Web site before purchasing this product to find out all the info you would need to know.
