This Kennel is HORRIBLE! We should have saved our money because its so flimsy the dogs just push right through it. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS JUNK!! ours dogs destroyed it within a week! its just a mess and cost us just as much to buy a new one to fix it.

Answer by: D.J. (Admin) on Feb 3, 2015 3:10:45 PMIs this sturdy enough for two stubborn 50 lb dogs coonhound/golden retrevier and a lab/dane mix and how wide is the gap between the door and walls when the door is closed...
Question by: sidney on Oct 8, 2013 9:40:05 AMHello,
To answer your first question this is sturdy enough for the two dogs as long as they have been kennel trained, if they have no such training I would recommend our Tarter Elite Dog Kennel 6' x 10' x 10' (DKHDG SKU: 130710767). It has the same dimensions but it is quite a bit more heavy duty than the Pet Safe Kennel.
To answer your second question the gap between the frame of the fence and the door is 2 and a quarter inches.
Hope this answered your questions, if you have any others about this product or any other product we offer on the site please feel free to email us back or give us a call at 1-800-561-1752.
