For vaccination of healthy equine to protect againstrhinopneumonitis and abortion in pregnant mares. Contributes to the maturation of immunity against respiratory disease caused by both EH1 and EH1b viruses.
Indication: For vaccination of healthy horses 9 months of age or older, as well as in pregnant mares as an aid in prevention of abortion due to EHV-1 infections including:
- EHV - Rhinopneumonitis - 1p &1b
- Single dose
- Liquid
Status: Killed Virus
Dose:
Pregnant Mares - Administer one 2ml dose in the muscle during the 5th, 7th and 9th months of pregnancy as an aid in the prevention of abortion due to EHV-1 infections.
Young horses - Inject 2ml dose deep in the heavy muscles of the hindquarters after weaning, followed by a second 2ml dose 3 to 4 weeks later, Revaccinate with a single 2ml dose 6 months after the second primary dose then anually theraferRepeat dose in 3 - 4 weeks then once annually. Mild exervise to promote absorption is recommended for one week after injection. - Specs
