I bought this stove online and had it shipped. The price was 50% of what Lowes was selling it for. Very easy to install. It did have some odor at first as it was burning off some paint on the logs, but after a few hours, it was fine. I highly recommend it...

Really good price for this product. I found it elsewhere priced at over $500. It was delivered promptly. I am really enjoying using it. I really do think you should have a professsional install it.( In fact the plumber said it is one of the "coolest" things he has ever installed). I did and I feel much more confident that it is safe and working properly.

I bought this stove last week and brought it home and installed it myself. Simple to install as gas line and shutoff valve were already installed.
The stove works great and I was reluctant to purchase it as I have a 20X24 living room with an 18ft high cathedral ceiling. My regular gas furnace was not keeping it warm enough. This stove works fabulous. Nice and cozy now. The quality and price are great also. I would highly recomend this stove.

If you spend any time at all, you will find a great variation in the cost and quality of these gas stoves. I compared the handiwork, the grilling and the control nobs to a much more expensive model in a local store. This one, though half the cost, is superior in every regard. We installed it ourselves. There are a few needed parts that do not come with the unit, and you will need to visit with a local plumbing or gas shop. All that aside, Rural King is tops. The unit came as advertized, is attractive, and the flame warm. I was asleep in front of the stove within an hour of installing it. It should be on your list of choices.

      Yes, this heater may get hot when running. It is advised to keep items away from the heater. Always allow the surface to cool after shutting it off before you touch it.
