- Solid product--let's see how the martins like it... Review by Phil

Price Value Quality I put the birdhouse together in about 1/2 hour. Instructions were very good and clear. It looks great in place (about 20' up).
Only a couple of caveats:
+ the white plastic perches are rather flimsy and don't "lock in" to the structure very well. The side perches are supposed to snap into grooves under the floors, but they pop out easily and you can't relocate them without opening up the house. I had to drill some small holes to get the "TV antenna" perches to lock in. No big deal though
+ a bigger issue was the odd triangular hole for mounting on a pole. I didn't want to buy a new pole, the old one I have is perfectly sound, but the birdhouse would not fit onto the round pole. I ended up having to craft a triangular wooden dowel to fit into the bird house with a circular lower end fitting into the pole. Only took a few minutes with an electric plane but still.
Overall I like it and have scored accordingly.(Posted on 4/22/13)

Value Quality Price I shopped around and found the best price for this unit at Rural King. It was in stock so shipping was not an issue. I specifically wanted Starling-resistant door openings which this one has. They are working and are keeping the Starlings out.
No tools were required for assembly, and it went together easily and quickly. The inner walls are corrogated plastic, but the tab-and-slot connections fit together well. It wobbles during assembly, but is surprisingly solid when completed.
Overall, it was priced right, easy to assemble, and looks very good! It is completely plastic so only time will tell how well it holds up. For now, I am very happy with this purchase!(Posted on 2/27/13)
