Value Quality Price Love this thing. I bought it early spring 2011 while looking at the bottled chlorine at Rural King in Mattoon. A lady customer saw me and suggested I buy the Chlorine Generator that only uses salt. She sold me on it based on her experience with it. I put 120 Lbs of salt in my Intex 18 foot diameter 48" deep pool and didn't touch my pool all summer. It runs 3 hours per day and my pool stayed as clear and clean all summer as the day I filled it. Even during the 2 week long vacations I took. I enjoyed my pool more than ever before because it wasn't a daily grind balancing chlorine and Ph. So far this year it's worked great again.

Value Quality Price I purchased this item with much anticipation and some reserve. This salt water chlorinator is the real deal. It does what it is advertised to do. Simple use. After the initial investment in the device the only cost is salt. My yearly cost is about $30. Compare that to all the chlorine, shock, and stabilizer over the course of one season! The one downside is that if the power goes out then you must reset the timer on the device. I highly recommend this product to anyone with an above ground pool that uses a filter system that pumps 1000 gallons or more per hour.

Value Quality Price We bought this product 2 years ago on the internet. At first I was concerned about the quality of the product we had it about a week and it would not work correctly. I called the company and explained what it was doing they were so nice about my issues they sent me another pump at no cost to me. They assumed the one i had was defective due to we could not get it to work properly. I love this pump. I use 4 bags of salt at the beginning of the year when we set up the pool it keeps the pool water crystal clear and we never have to add another else ther est of the summer. You do have to back wash it about once a week but i will take that over adding chemicals daily. Buy this product you won't be dissapointed. Its easy on the wallet and easy on the environment no chemicals or containers to dispose of.

Value Quality Price We purchased this from Rural King 2 years ago as an add on to our existing pump. I must admit I didn't understand the concept of turning salt water into chlorine. I have been happy ever since . We bought 3 or 4 bags of water softener salt right at Rural King and that was it there was never a need to add anything else we had crystal clear water all season long. It's all natural chlorine, so your pool and swim suits and skin will not be harmed like regular chlorine. Just follow all instructions start with a very pure salt and clean the unit when it tells you with the digital readout. And you will pay for it in one season not purchasing liquid chlorine.

Is it the 56601E or is it the 54601E??
