We combined the deep cutting ability of the 8-Blade Tillage Disc with the soil preparation and compaction action of the culti-packer in this all-in-one implement. The Disc/Culti-Packer Combo makes easy work with a single pass. The 16" tillage discs can be adjusted from 0° through 20° and provide a 48" cutting width. The ratchet action handle makes disc adjustment a snap and the heavy-duty, front-mounted winch makes culti-packer adjustment both easy and independent of the disc blades. The super heavy-duty steel frame and heavy-duty construction make this an even heavier tool (711 lbs.). The adjustable 13" 4-ply tubeless tires can be lowered for complete ground clearance (when towing or moving) or can be used to reduce drag depending on surface characteristics and ATV capabilities. This product features heavy-duty sealed bearings and our durable, corrosion-resistant powder coat gray finish.

This is a solid piece of equipment and very heavy. It is more pricey than other similar equipment but it should last a lifetime. I have not used it in the field yet. The only issue I have with it so far is there is no manual or instructions on usage and settings. I contacted the manufacturer for help and they sent me a parts list. That's fine but it doesn't really help a newbie get started using this beast. Maybe a seasoned farmer understands how to use the multiple adjustments and settings but I just expected a little insight on how to best use the equipment, especially considering the price. Overall, I would recommend it.

Heavy duty, solid piece of equipment. Easy to use, heavy enough to dig into solid soil base. Pulled with my 500cc UTV, wouldn't want to use anything smaller of would have trouble pulling at full depth. Did a wonderful job discing a very hard surface and then smoothed out with the cultipacker.

- Solid piece of equipment Review by P. McGinnis

After three weeks of waiting since I ordered my Disc/Culti packer it finally arrived. No owners manual came with the item. Aside from that it wasn't too hard to figure out how it worked. Hooked it up to my ATV and took it for a trial run. Disked/packed approx. 1/2 acre in one hour. Had to go over the same area a few times adjusting the depth of the disc to get the hang of things. This is a solid piece of equipment. Having read several reviews on this Disc/Culti Packer I was convinced that my Suzuki 400 would be adequate for towing the disc. Just barely. I'm now looking for a larger (500cc-750cc) ATV. Better to have too much power than not enough.
I would recommend this product for small disking jobs around the house and garden. Would probably work on medium sized food plots as well.

I finally got a chance to try my Tarter disc. I spent several weeks researching and trying to figure out what the best one and I think it's the one I bought. It works great I bought the one with the cultipacker and I think that is the only way to go the extra weight makes the disc work well.

Product QuestionsAfter you have worked ground and spread seed, can you run this product over the seed bed, using only the culti-packer, or is it not tall enough to reach the ground, with the disc cranked up?Question by: Skylar Smith on Jun 25, 2015 1:34:00 PMHello,
Yes this unit can be used after seed bed prep work is completed to use just only the culti-packer. The unit can be adjusted high enough to allow this application. (works great I use my personal unit like this all the time when needed)
