The cat 0 spec is 20" between the lower arms. This buster is 20 1/4" + the nuts on the pins. My cat 0 hitch on an old Speedex tractor has rigid lower arms (the pins drop in from the top like a quick hitch) so the buster won't fit.
It's also WAY too tall for a small (category 0) tractor. I ended up welding on brackets to move the pins in about an inch on each side and move them down 3". Now the point will just clear the ground when raised.
It is very well built. Way stronger than my 16HP tractor will be able to break or bend.
It does the job I need to do very well. But as Dan said, if you've got a category 0 tractor you need to be prepared to modify the buster.

This model is supposed to have cat 1 pins, but at cat 0 spacing. I purchased the unit to go on my 316 with factory style 3 point (cat 0). I replaced the pins with cat 0 pins, but the spacing is a bit too wide by about 3/4 inch. It is possible to get hooked up, but on the verge of not possible. Also, and this is not the fault of the attachment, but a 316 with 3 point does not have the vertical range of motion to get the middle buster off the ground, by about an inch (even with the lower arms adjusted all the way up). I am going to extend the middle buster back about a foot, which will give enough range of motion for use. All in all, I am glad I purchased, but would not recommend anyone with a small JD garden tractor with cat 0 hitch to purchase, unless they were ready to make the same modifications.
