Price Value Quality I received my new Tipton Gun Vise just 7 days after ordering it from Rural King's company store in Illinois. I ordered from a most gracious customer assistant who seemed to take care of all the details of my transaction and then some. Even though I'm in California the representative seemed confident that I'd receive my product in "less than a week", she told me. UPS delivered the gun vise, securely packed and shipped via their Ground Service about a week later and I was very stoked about the whole deal.
Amazon.com had the gun vise priced at about $115 or so, including shipping, so paying a mere $49.99, no sales tax also, was a blessing I appreciated a lot! I had never under-shopped Amazon to that day, and will probably not again see such a value but there it was safe and sound in my front room all ready for use on my pellet rifles and pistols.
The gun vise is finished like a specialty tool should be, with some very innovative features. It looks like it's made of heavy metals, but once you pick it up and feel the light weight you know different. The vise will adapt to any rifle or pistol I believe, although I've only used it on my pellet rifles and pistols, as there are a myriad of adjustments for stock and barrel configurations.
I am totally happy with the price I paid, and the service was first class all the way from Rural King's telephones and representatives. The Tipton Gun Vise is in a class of its own also, so what a great experience buying it from Rural King was!(Posted on 4/5/13)
