Work Sharp offers 3 easy ways to grind and sharpen: Freehand on top (top tool rest use optional), the Chisel and plane iron port and the Edge-Vision port. Work Sharp's precise and repeatable chisel sharpening port allows easy sharpening of 25 degree angle chisels and plane irons up to 1 5/8" wide. The diamond lapping abrasive in the sharpening port increases burr removal, speeds sharpening and allows for one step resharpening. The Edge-Vision port allows you to see the cutting edge as you sharpen or grind a wide array of carving, lathe and other specialty tools. Work Sharp uses an innovative active air cooling system with forced air flow and sharpening port heat sink, which allows for higher material removal rates without affecting the steel temper.
