- The best stove on the market Review by woodchopper

Quality Price Value We bought our 1500 hot blast series from rural king a couple of years ago. I was (like alot of others) worried about how much my upstairs would be heated. And I'm proud and happy to say that we have been truly blessed with how warm our upstairs is in the coldest of winter. The stove burns anywhere from 10-11 hours solid without the motor kicking off. We have one pipe blowing out freely in the basement and the other into the upstairs section via duct. The home is way over 2500 sq feet and we have zero complaints about being cold in the most frigid part of winter. Oh and our electric bill now runs in the $65-$70 range all winter long.

- At "participating stores only" Review by Bittersweet

Value Quality Price You'll like this stove, and you'll like the price. But if you want it for that price, either buy online or from a "participating store."
I bought it on season's end clearance about two weeks ago when I read the weekly ad on this site. Days later it dropped $200 more. I could get the difference reimbursed, and I still might from the corporation, but my local Rural King where I bought it isn't participating in the sale.
That's each store's decision, but if I had my decision back, I would have picked it up in Indiana, or had it shipped to my door. Honestly, both would have saved me more than buying it locally.(Posted on 7/16/12)
