- Not Safe! Look inside before you buy. Steel plate blocks access to clean flue area. Review by SmkyMtnSmile

I am extremely surprised that this wood stove has not been recalled. Having this wood stove cleaned is not enough it has to be inspected inside the cavity in the top part of the wood stove to insure safety. There is no way of knowing when or how much creosote has built up in this area at any given time. This puts my family at risk for a house fire. There is a metal plate in the inside top of the wood stove running from the front to the back blocking access to the opening of the flue system and creating a cavity of approximately one to two inches covering the entire top part of the internal section of the wood stove with no access to this section short of taking the stove apart.
