Value Quality Price Have had the pole installed since Memorial Day weekend of 2009...I did a good job of anchoring the socket.
6/22/2009 storm blew through with one gust reaching 80 mph. The pole bent over at the socket and am in process of replacing the lower section. Rural King help line and Valley Forge have been most helpful in getting the replacement part.
A 50 foot willow tree didn't survive the gust either.
Pole has good fit and finish. Would survive most storms easily but we were lucky enough to catch one of the odd ones.(Posted on 7/16/12)
