What is included in the gut health package in this feed?
Our Well-Gut Package includes marine-sourced calcium to buffer stomach acid, controlled levels of starch and sugar to promote gastric health, as well as super fibers and pre and probiotics to promote a healthy hindgut.
Will this feed help my senior horse gain weight?
EQ8 Senior is 10% fat and high-calorie: it’s a great option for horses needing to gain weight.
Can I feed this product to my horse with bad teeth?
Yes. EQ8 Senior is partially extruded, which makes it easier to chew and digest. It is always a good idea to soak feed for horses with bad teeth.
Is this product a good fit for performance horses?
When fed as directed, EQ8 Senior is a great option for performance horses in light to moderate work. For heavy or intense workloads, we recommend adding .5-1lb daily of GRO ‘N WIN.
