RURAL KING DEMO DAYS SWEEPSTAKES OFFICIAL RULES

The Rural King Demo Days Sweepstakes (“the Sweepstakes”) is intended for legal residents of the United States of America and shall only be construed and evaluated according to applicable law. Do not enter this Sweepstakes if You are not a United States resident, at least 18 year(s) of age, or are otherwise ineligible to enter in accordance with these Official Rules at the time of entry. Void where prohibited.

SPONSOR: The Sweepstakes is sponsored and administrated by RK Holdings, LLP (referred to hereinafter as “Rural King”) with a mailing address of 4216 Dewitt Avenue, Mattoon, IL 61938.

ELIGIBILITY:The Sweepstakes is open only to natural persons legally residing in the following U.S. states where there is a Rural King store: Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Missouri, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Virginia, or West Virginia (“Qualifying Residents”). A Qualifying Resident entering the Sweepstakes must be at least twenty-one (21) years old at the time of submitting an entry and must be an authorized user of an email address originating in the United States of America. Natural persons who submit an entry but who are not Qualifying Residents are not eligible to be awarded a prize but will be placed on our email list and agree to receive emailed promotions, from which they may unsubscribe at any time by using the “Unsubscribe” link at the bottom of your email. DO NOT ENTER THIS SWEEPSTAKES IF YOU DO NOT WISH TO RECEIVE EMAILS FROM US. The Sweepstakes is only open to legal residents of the USA and is void where prohibited by law. Non-eligibility or non-compliance with any of these Official Rules will result in disqualification. No purchase is necessary to enter or win. Employees, officers, directors, members, representatives, or agents of any Rural King entity, as well as their immediate families (spouse, parents, children, and siblings) are not eligible to enter the Sweepstakes or to win a prize.

AGREEMENT TO RULES:: By participating, You agree to be bound by these Official Rules, and You represent and warrant that You meet the eligibility requirements set forth herein. All decisions on behalf of Rural King are recognized as final and binding.

SWEEPSTAKES PERIOD: All online entries must be received by the close of business or 11:59 PM C.D.T on April 19, 2025. Administrator’s computer is the official time keeping device for the Sweepstakes. Please review the table below for precise Sweepstakes Period and drawing date:

Sweepstakes Schedule: 

HOW TO ENTER: The Sweepstakes must be entered by completing an entry slip at a participating Rural King location or on RuralKing.com via a QR Code that will be posted on the website on April 19, 2025. Only “in person” customers or online by visiting https://www.ruralking.com. Once the entry slip or online entry is completed, You will be eligible for the Sweepstakes. Entries that are not complete or do not adhere to the rules or specifications may be disqualified at the sole discretion of Rural King. Only the entries received at a participating Rural King location or via the QR Code will be included. You may not attempt to circumvent the rules. If You use fraudulent methods or otherwise attempt to circumvent the rules, Your submission may be removed from eligibility at the sole discretion of Rural King. You cannot enter the Sweepstakes by mailing a Sweepstakes entry form. Any Sweepstake entry forms received will be discarded. No purchase is necessary to win.

PRIZES:  Three (3) total prizes will be available during the Sweepstakes Period. One (1) Bad Boy Zero Turn Mower with an approximate retail value of $ 4,499, One (1) Troy-Bilt Lawn Mower with an approximate retail value of $2,699, and One (1) Troy-Bilt Zero Turn Mower with an approximate retail value of $3,299, (“Prizes”) will be allocated to Three (3) Individual Winners. In the event any of the Prizes are unavailable, a substitute prize of the same or similar value shall be awarded. The Prize is non-transferable. No cash or other substitution of the Prize is permitted. All Prize related expenses, including without limitation any and all federal, state, and/or local taxes shall be the sole responsibility of each of the individual winners. The individual winners must take delivery of their prize in person at a Rural King store and provide identification at the time of claiming their prize. Rural King is not responsible for any lost, damaged, or stolen Prizes.

ODDS: The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.

WINNER SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION: Three (3) Individual Winners for the Sweepstakes Period will be selected at random by Rural King, the official judging agency for the Sweepstakes, on or about the dates specified in the schedule above. Winners will be selected at random using a computer-generated random selection process. Winners will be notified via the email address or phone number they used to enter the Sweepstakes. If the selected Winners cannot be contacted, are ineligible, or otherwise fail to claim their individual prize within seventy-two (72) hours from the time award notification was sent, the prize may be forfeited, and an alternate eligible Winner selected, without further notice or liability to You. The Prizes offered in this Sweepstakes are conditioned upon compliance with all federal, state, and municipal laws.

ANY VIOLATION OF THESE OFFICIAL RULES BY ANY WINNER WILL RESULT IN SUCH WINNER’S DISQUALIFICATION AS WINNER OF THE SWEEPSTAKES AND ALL PRIVILEGES WILL BE IMMEDIATELY TERMINATED.

RIGHTS GRANTED BY YOU:  You understand that Rural King, anyone acting on behalf of Rural King, or its respective licensees, successors and assigns will have the right, where permitted by law, without any further notice, review or consent to print, publish, broadcast, distribute, and use, worldwide in any media now known or hereafter in perpetuity and throughout the World, Your submission, including, without limitation, the entry and Winner’s name, portrait, picture, voice, likeness, image or statements about the Sweepstakes, and biographical information as news, publicity or information and for trade, advertising, public relations and promotional purposes without any further compensation.

TERMS: Rural King reserves the right to cancel, terminate, suspend, or modify the Sweepstakes if we, in our sole discretion, conclude that the integrity of the Sweepstakes is or may be comprised, or that the Sweepstakes is not capable of being offered or administered as planned, due to tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failure, force majeure, human error, or other causes. In any such case, Winners will be drawn from among all eligible entries received by us up to the time we determine to terminate or cancel the Sweepstakes.

DISQUALIFICATION OF ENTRIES:Rural King reserves the right at its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with or attempts to tamper with the entry process or the operation of the Sweepstakes or website or violates these Terms & Conditions.

Rural King has the right, in its sole discretion, to maintain the integrity of the Sweepstakes, to void entries for any reason, including, but not limited to; multiple entries from the same user from different IP addresses; multiple entries from the same computer in excess of that allowed by Sweepstakes rules; or the use of bots, macros or scripts or other technical means for entering.

Any attempt by an entrant to deliberately damage any website or undermine the legitimate operation of the Sweepstakes may be a violation of criminal and civil laws and should such an attempt be made; Rural King reserves the right to seek damages from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law. Duplicate entries by the same individual will be disqualified.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY:  By entering, You agree to release and hold harmless Rural King, and its subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies, partners, representatives, agents, successors, assigns, employees, officers and directors from any liability, illness, injury, death, loss, litigation, claim or damage that may occur, directly or indirectly, whether caused by negligence or not, from (i) such entrant’s participation in the Sweepstakes and/or his/her acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of any prize or any portion thereof, (ii) technical failures of any kind, including but not limited to the malfunctioning of any computer, cable, network, hardware or software; (iii) the unavailability or inaccessibility of any transmissions or telephone or Internet service; (iv) unauthorized human intervention in any part of the entry process or the Promotion; and (v) electronic or human error which may occur in the administration of the Promotion or the processing of entries.

DISPUTES:  Each person who enters the Sweepstakes agrees that any and all disputes, claims, and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Sweepstakes or the prizes offered or awarded, and all issues concerning the validity, interpretation, and enforceability of these Official Rules shall be resolved individually, without resort to any class action, and exclusively in a court of competent jurisdiction in Coles County, Illinois. All entrants agree to Coles County, Illinois as the venue for any action at law or in equity, without regard to any conflict of laws doctrine. Any and all claims, judgments, and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, and shall specifically exclude consequential, incidental, multiplied or punitive damages, attorney fees and expert fees. Some jurisdictions do not recognize the exclusive jurisdiction of the Illinois courts and/or do not allow the limitation or exclusion of liability for incidental damages, so the preceding sentence may not apply to You.

PRIVACY POLICY: Information submitted with an entry is subject to the Privacy Policy. The full Privacy Policy may be found by visiting privacy-policy, and is incorporated herein by reference.

SEVERABILITY: The invalidity or unenforceability of any provision of these Official Rules will not affect the validity or enforceability of any other provision. If any provision of the Official Rules is determined to be invalid or otherwise unenforceable, the other provisions will remain in effect and will be construed as if the invalid or unenforceable provision were not contained herein. These Official Rules contain the full and complete understanding with respect to the Sweepstakes and supersede all prior and contemporaneous agreements, representations, and understandings, whether oral or written.

WINNER LIST: To obtain a copy of the Winner’s name or a copy of these Official Rules, mail Your request along with a stamped, self-addressed envelope to: Rural King c/o Legal Dept. 4216 Dewitt Avenue, Mattoon, IL 61938. Requests must be received no later than fifteen (14) calendar days after the drawing occurs.
